Steadybeat Recordings has a long history with the Los Angeles Ska scene. We’ve been here from the very early 90’s and we’ll be here for many more. It’s been a strange and wonderful trip from the streets of Chinatown (oh those Hong King Cafe days) to the seedy underbelly of Long Beach (miss you Leonardos’s) and back to Chinatown – we’ve seen it all and worked with almost all of them.

We’ve always prided ourselves on representing only the best Jamaican influenced Ska & Reggae – striving to stay as true to the roots as possible. We’ve seen a lot of great bands come and go. We hold our heads up high to the sounds of a young Jamaica with our boots on our feet and the music in our soul – we’re ready to rock it steady with the best of the best – the number one solid gold hits with a bullet.

Make no mistake – Steady Beat will shake Chinatown with sounds by the pound.
